Africa is a diverse destination, hosting millions of wildlife, locals, and multiple other spectacular commodities. Recently, across Africa there has been an increased ban in using plastics bags within its communities.

The drastic rise on the ban of plastic bags comes into effect to aim to reduce pollution, protect the environment and to control and conserve the environment.

Plastic Ban in Tanzania

Tanzania is the latest country in Africa to receive the plastic ban, which comes into effect as from 1st June 2020. Therefore guests, visitors and tourists visiting Tanzania are advised not to carry or have any plastic bags with them when arriving at the entry points, as they will be fined.

With our efforts at Cheetah Safaris to make sure we go green; we have as well embraced the news and action by the Tanzanian Government. We have gone ahead and introduced our reusable metal cheetah safaris bottles, to ensure there is no use of plastic bottles and eliminate them completely from our safaris.

You can check out our reusable metal water bottles today.

Book a Kenya, Tanzania Safari and witness the wildebeest Migration and the Crossings

The Wildebeest Migration is soon approaching, and we have a variety of amazing safaris to both the Masai Mara and Serengeti, as well as an extension to Ngorongoro Crater, ensuring you witness the phenomenon.

As the wildebeest strive to look for greener grounds, they cross the currents of the Mara River, where stampedes are witnessed while the crocs await them. More hunting and big cats sightings are as well spotted on this movement.

You can check out our wildebeest safaris that covers Kenya and Tanzania such as the 15 days Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari.

If you are more interested in an adventurous experience, the 12 day Kenya and Tanzania Wildebeest safari may be for you.

Pack For a Purpose

Cheetah Safaris is a serious advocate of sustainable safari practices in Africa. As part of our efforts and initiative, we engage and support schools and children who need knowledge to better their lives. The best gift a child can be given is education, skills, and creativity.

In this case, we request our guests booking with us, to bring an extra back of supplies. This can be in terms of books, sports materials, and any other items that would change the lives of these kids.
