Activities to do Around Nairobi - Nairobi City excursions

City Tours within Nairobi & Outside Nairobi –  Nairobi national park safari booking

With the extensive range of activities in Nairobi, you are assured to learn and experience a lot of the history of Kenyan independence. View the wildlife at the Nairobi National Park and visit the Elephant Sanctuary or the giraffe center. Finally, indulge in some dinner at Carnivore, one of the oldest and best restaurants in Kenya.

If you have a day in Nairobi, a day outside the city is highly recommended. Here at Cheetah Safaris, we have a lot of day tours to different prime destinations such as Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru N. Park, Lake Naivasha, Hells N. Park, Olpejeta Conservancy, a Hike to Mt. Longonot, Ngong hills, and many others. Also, take part in a thrilling experience by taking a bungee jump or water rafting challenges in Sagana.

Despite being situated 15 minutes drive on the southeastern outskirts of East Africa’s most populous, cosmopolitan, and industrialized city, it is a genuinely worthwhile and uncontrived safari destination in East Africa. Unfenced on two sides, it allows free movement of wildlife from the nearby Athi Plains (though not in and out of the city, for obvious reasons) to Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve.

The absence of elephants means it is not a true Big Five park, but still, it is one of the best places in East Africa for spotting black rhinos and witnessing lion kills. In addition, the park is home to most other plains wildlife species associated with southern Kenya, including large seasonal herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, as well as lower densities of eland, giraffe, and impala.
