We even introduced Conservation Safaris that Focuses mostly on wildlife, human, and environmental conservation. Such Safaris are like our Elephant Safari in Kenya 11 Days among many, which not only exposes you to our projects but educates you more of why it is important to look after wildlife and protect them.

We have listed some of the best safari practices that we encourage our guests, who book safaris with us to follow.

1. Understand Your Destination And Safari you are Taking

As you plan your African safari, it’s one of the dreams you have always had. That means you have a specific destination you dream to visit for your safari holiday. When you have decided already, do enough research to know how people are, behave, and conduct themselves. Familiarise with the destinations law, rules, and regulations. Most importantly, your living in that destination will matter. How you interact with people will not only impact them but you too.

2. Have Bio-degradable products

While planning our African Safaris, we ensure we carry some items such as Shampoos, Lotions, and all these kinds. We request that if you can get items that are biodegradable, it would be the best way you are minding our environment.

3. Follow Park Rules & Regulations

Every park we visit in East Africa, have their own different rules are displayed and printed for guests visiting. These rules help us respect and practice good behavior while in them. Such us maintaining silence, no over speeding, no off-roading if not licensed, and getting out of the car in places not designated.

4. Respect Wildlife

Wildlife is in their territories when we visit the parks. Therefore, giving them the respect they deserve, its paramount to improve tourism practices. Such as not giving wildlife space, right of passage, and interfering with their natural existence. When we interfere with their behaviors, they will surely change and not be as how they should be while in the wild.

5. Staying Around the Lodge or Camp

It’s prohibited to walk out of your lodge or camp without an escort or guide. This is because most accommodations are not fenced and wildlife movement is sometimes visible close to camps and lodges. This hence puts you in danger of being attacked by wildlife such as elephants, big cats, and many others. Most camps and lodges offer guided game walking, which is mostly just around the property to learn the different types of Flora and Fauna.

6. Don’t Buy Souvenirs and Gifts made from Animal Products

We don’t promote poaching and we condemn this practice to its highest order. These products come from killed animals just because they can produce ornaments and gifts that are valuable, denying an animal the right to live. Therefore watch out what you buying the gift, curio shops. The Kenyan Government has tightened the poaching punishment to life jail terms or killed for any poacher found.

7. Practice Clean Environment

While on Safari, ensure you keep your self clean and trust you haven don’t throw away, dispose of them in the right places, and designated dustbin, either in the safari vehicle or at the lodges or camps.

8. Support Local

All our Safaris are inclusive of Masai Village Visits, Local Community visits to promote them and also give you a chance to indulge in an African culture. These proceeds help communities appreciate tourism and keep them off from human-wildlife conflict. Also if you support our projects, by booking a safari with us, 10% four safari bookings proceeds go to community projects and empowerment. A child will go to school, get medication, food and also get clean and safe water for consumption.

9. Safari Packing

Ensure you pack light when coming on safari to Africa. This gives you a chance to get more items when flying back home after a long haul safari holiday here. Carry clothes that are not shouty and not dark, such as jungle green, grey, brown, beige-colored clothes.

10. Guides Appreciation & Gratuity

Our Safari Guides are the ones you will spend with 80% of your time on safari. We have trained them on best customer service practices, and how to take care of guests while on safari. We ensure our guests get top-notch gentle care from our professional safari guides. In that regard, we encourage our guests to always appreciate them well before or after your safari. This motivates them to work more diligently and with passion.
