This safari can be tailored to fit in a Wildebeest Calving safari when booked between the month of January to March. You will witness more than 8000 wildebeests born daily between Jan and March.
Our Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris is specifically designed to witness the major crossings in Masai Mara and Serengeti. But we still can curate this tour as per your interest. This includes how and where to start and end, places to stay, and what you would prefer to see while on game drives. Day One: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
Our Kenya and Tanzania Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris Tour starts from Nairobi. Our guides pick you up from the hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport to Lake Nakuru National Park. Our transfer to Lake Nakuru is approximately 3-4 hours depending on our road condition. We shall check in at our camp/lodge for lunch and check in to the allocated tent.
After lunch, we shall choose either to do a short or brief safari within Lake Nakuru National Park. With the help of our guide, we shall be spotting different wildlife species and Bird species such as the greater and lesser flamingos, the white rhinos, and some big cats among them the leopards and lions.

Day Two : Lake Nakuru Nakuru Park to Masai Mara
On our second day of our Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris, we will be leaving for Masai Mara from Lake Nakuru National Park. After departure from Lake Nakuru at 8.00 am after breakfast, we will drive 7 hours to Masai Mara checking in at Masai Mara National Reserve Safari Camp / Lodge in time for lunch.
Our Next Days will be full-day game drives departing from our lodge Camp at 8.00 am with our packed Lunch. Although we can plan early morning and evening game drives, the itinerary is flexible to fit the holiday.

Day Three to Five : Masai Mara Full Day Game drives
After an amazing time with the Flamingos, we will then spend another 4 nights in the Masai Mara. Immediately after our breakfast at 8.00 am, we shall drive straight to Masai Mara Reserve checking in time for lunch. On this second day of our Kenya and Tanzania Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris, we will be exploring the Masai Mara and witnessing the crossings.
Our Safari will entirely be concentrated on watching the wildebeest Migration and crossing the major rivers on Masai Mara. On our two days of full-day game drives, we shall be witnessing this phenomenon during the feasting season that the big cats will have as they bring down wildebeests.
After every breakfast, we shall be leaving with our packed lunches while doing our full-day game viewing in the reserve.

Day Six: Masai Mara to Serengeti
Early morning breakfast game en-route leave Masai Mara National Reserve for Serengeti National Park. an 8 – 9 Hrs drive arriving at our North Serengeti camp for the next few nights to witness the great wildebeest migration. We will check in to the camp and rest for the day as we prepare for the following days’ game drives and sightings.

Day Seven to Nine: Serengeti National Park
On our last day, we will have breakfast at 6.00 am and leave for Serengeti at 6.30 am being dropped off at the Isebania border. Our Tanzania Guide will pick us up and we continue to Tanzania Safari. On arrival at our camp/lodge, we shall be served our late lunch before embarking on a short one-hour game drive.
Our next two days will be full-day game drives, our safari will entirely be concentrated on watching the wildebeest Migration and crossing the major rivers in Serengeti Park. On our two days of full-day game drives, we shall be witnessing this phenomenon during the feasting season that the big cats will have as they bring down wildebeests.
After every breakfast, we shall be leaving with our packed lunches while doing our full-day game viewing in the reserve.
We will leave Serengeti North and drive to Serengeti Seronera area for our overnight stay here before leaving for Arusha

Day Ten :Serengeti National Park to Arusha
After leaving Serengeti early by 8.00 am, we shall be driving to the next destination of our Kenya and Tanzania Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris. We will have 8 8-hour drive to Arusha passing through Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Beautiful sceneries of the Karatu coffee farms as we approach Arusha city.

Day Eleven: Arusha to Nairobi
Wake up for a long drive crossing over the Namanga Border to Nairobi from Arusha at 8.00 am. After border checks, our Kenyan drivers will pick you up and head to Nairobi. We shall check in at our Nairobi hotel for refreshment and rest before we take a sumptuous meal at a restaurant around Nairobi City.
As we end our luxury 11-day Kenya and Tanzania Combined Wildebeest Migration Safaris, we will bid you goodbye and hope to see you next time.
Later that evening you will be transferred to the JKIA for your homebound flight.
