The Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari offers an amazing opportunity to experience and feel the zeal, thrill, and wonders of Nature that naturally happen between Kenya and Tanzania. This natural occurrence happens between the Serengeti and Masai Mara, from July to October of every year.

Seeing more than 1.5 million animals migrating, and river crossing the major rivers of Serengeti and Masai Mara, is no fit for any creature on earth. These wildebeests cross the rivers infested with nile crocodiles that haunt them and kill them for their future consumption.

Join us for an amazing 10-day wildebeest migration safari in Serengeti Tanzania, and discover this unimaginable and incredible wildlife experience. We will visit some of the best safari destinations in Africa, the Serengeti National Park, from Arusha City.

Using our 4×4 land cruiser jeeps, we will cruise all the way to Central Serengeti, and finally drive up to Northern Serengeti. On return, we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a night and a short experience of the crater, then later drive back to Arusha for your homebound flight.

You are guaranteed to be accompanied by professional safari guides who are knowledgeable and experienced in the field of safari guiding.

Safari Itinerary

10 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari

  • Day One – Arusha to Serengeti National Park

    Our first day will start from Arusha. Our guides pick you up from the hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport to Serengeti. Our transfer to Serengeti is approximately 5-7 hours depending on our accommodation selection. Our starting section will be from Serengeti North on our first three nights. We shall check in at our camp/lodge for lunch and check in to the allocated tent.

    After lunch, we shall choose either to do a short or brief safari within the Serengeti Park. If not, we shall be preparing for a full-day safari the next day as we exhaust our fatigue on our first day.

    With the help of our guide, we shall be spotting different wildlife species among them the big five and the big cats of the Serengeti.

  • Day Two to Day Nine – Serengeti National Park

    On our second day to ninth day, We shall explore the best parts of Serengeti including the North Central and South of Serengeti. Staying in different camps within the Serengeti, We shall be waking up for the morning and later do an evening game drive or choose a game walk.

    Our lunches will be served in the wild or back at the camps during our safari.

    On our first three nights, we shall be spending in the Northern region of the Serengeti. It’s well known for wildebeest migration and crossing as they move towards Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya.

    The Serengeti National Park is a huge park with a huge number of wildlife and beautiful endless views and landscapes. With a size of almost 15000KM SQ, you are guaranteed to spot amazing wildlife and bird species.

    With our extensive stay in the Serengeti, we will witness the wildebeest migration, game hunting from the big cats, and amazing sunsets.

    We shall spend another three nights at central Serengeti to now capture the best of Serengeti and the big cats as they hunt and feed. On our last 3 nights, we shall spend at the South of Serengeti National Park.

    South Serengeti region is well known for wildebeest calving. After a full year of roaming from the North side and Kenya Masai Mara, they end up in the Ndutu area for the calving season which happens between Jan and April.
