Samburu Intrepids Camp is a luxury tented safari camp situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Samburu National Reserve, Kenya. Surrounded by rugged landscapes, rolling hills, and riverine forests, this camp offers an authentic safari experience with stunning views of wildlife-rich savannahs. It is an excellent destination for spotting the Samburu Special Five – unique species found only in this region: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk.

ACCESS & LOCATION of Samburu Intrepids Camp

A 1 hour flight from Wilson Airport (Nairobi) to Samburu Airstrip, followed by a 20 minute game drive to Samburu Intrepids Camp.

Samburu Intrepids Camp offers 28 spacious luxury tents, raised on wooden decks with private verandas overlooking the river.

Each tent is tastefully furnished with four-poster beds, en-suite bathrooms, and modern amenities while maintaining a classic safari atmosphere.

Samburu Intrepids Camp features a swimming pool, lounge area, and an open-air restaurant serving gourmet cuisine inspired by both African and international flavors.
