Begin your adventure in Nairobi, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel to rest and prepare for the days ahead. The journey starts with a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, a stunning freshwater lake known for its birdlife and resident hippos. Here, enjoy a peaceful boat ride, offering close encounters with hippos and aquatic birds, as well as stunning views of the Rift Valley escarpments.
Next, travel to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. This vast savannah is home to an extraordinary variety of animals, including large prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species. If visiting during the Great Migration season, you’ll witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the plains, closely followed by hungry predators.
Over four nights in the Maasai Mara, you’ll embark on thrilling game drives in search of the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife.
