Known for its strong conservation efforts, Sarara is one of the few places where guests can witness the unique elephant rescue and rewilding process at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary.

ACCESS & LOCATION of Sarara Camp

By Air

The nearest airstrip is Sarara Airstrip, with scheduled and charter flights available from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

By Road

Sarara Camp is about 6 to 7 hours’ drive from Nairobi, offering scenic views of northern Kenya’s rugged terrain, Samburu villages, and wildlife.

Sarara Camp features six luxury tented suites, each offering spectacular panoramic views over the vast Namunyak plains.

The tents are spacious and elegantly designed, featuring en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers, private verandas, and comfortable king-size beds.

Sarara Camp’s infinity pool overlooks a waterhole, where wildlife like elephants, giraffes, and leopards often come to drink.
