ACCESS & LOCATION of andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge

Mnemba Island is located about 4.5 kilometers off the northeast coast of Zanzibar, near Matemwe. Guests typically fly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Stone Town, followed by a one and a half hour road transfer across the main island to the northeast coast, and then a 15 to 20 minute boat ride to Mnemba. The journey itself is part of the experience, ending with arrival on a pristine private island where exclusivity and natural beauty define the stay.

The lodge offers just twelve private bandas set on the beach, each designed in a rustic chic style with palm thatch, natural woods, and open plan layouts that bring the outdoors in.
