AndBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas is an intimate and exclusive mobile camp that moves five times a year. This movements are carefully planned out to anticipate movements of the Great migration. This is so as to make sure you are as close as possible to the animals action. ACCESS & LOCATION of AndBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas
This is a mobile camp that moves 5 times a year. Therefore, holding no specific location.
There are scheduled flights to Serengeti airstrip that’s closest to the camps locations such as Ndutu, Kogatende, Seronera and Grumeti. Then followed by a short drive to the camp. A flight from Arusha takes 1.5 hours followed by a 30 minutes to 1 hour drive depending on the location of the camp.
A drive to andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas from Arusha would take approximately 8 to 10 hours depending on road conditions and specific camp location.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT AndBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas
The camp is made up of nine spacious dafari tents including one family tent. Each tent is equipped with double or twin beds, a daybed, storage hests containing a mini bar and a safe, en-suite bathroom with a flush toilet, a double bucket shower with hot water and a personal butler. The family tent can take two adults and two kids with two bedrooms that can be separated with a privacy net.
The tents have a private veranda furnished with deckchairs and a washbasin. This gives you a serene spot to enjoy the surroundings. There are dining tents and lounge tents. The dining tent is open sided featuring separate tables and campaign chairs while the lounge tent offers two furnished seating areas with cushioned sofas and armchairs around coffee tables or classic storage chests. A bar that is centrally located.
Please note that on the activities offered there is a child policy whereby 0-5 year olds cannot participate in regular game drives, 6-11 year olds can go on game drives only at the discretion of camp manager with shortened game drives on request, 12-15 year olds are permitted on game drives and 16 years and above are permitted on all activities.

ACTIVITIES AT AndBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas
WildChild Programme
Taking children eight years or older with adult supervision. The camp only takes up to four children at the camp at a time. Children have the opportunity to learn how to play Bao which is a traditional mancala board game that’s played in most of East Africa. They also learn bush survival like the Maasai, fashion a traditional Maasai bow and Arrow and join a spear throwing competition, fire making the Maasai way and roasting marshmallows and stargazing.
Game Drives and Walking Safaris in the Serengeti
There aree daily game drives offered in open 4×4 safari cars with guided expert trackers and guides. The camp however, is strategically positioned to offer the greatest views when it comes to witnessing the great migration. There are also guided safari walks that allow you to explore the serengeti on foot.
Hot Air Balloon Safaris
Offering you an opportunity to witness the serengeti from above giving you a unique perspective of the wildlife and ladscape. Note that children aged 7 and older are allowed on this safari in the Seronera, Serengeti south and Grumeti regions while children 5 years and older on Kogatende region only.
Bush Dining and Sundowners
Guests can enjoy gourmet meals under the african sky in the bush and evening drinks at the sundowner watching the sunset over the Serengeti.
