ACCESS & LOCATION of Chobe Safari Lodge
The lodge is situated in Kasane, in the northeastern corner of Botswana, directly overlooking the Chobe River and a short distance from the gate to Chobe National Park. It is approximately 10 minutes by road from Kasane International Airport. The airport has regular flights from Maun, Gaborone, and Johannesburg, with flight times of about 1 hour 30 minutes from Maun, 1 hour 45 minutes from Gaborone, and 2 hours from Johannesburg.
By road, Kasane is well connected to neighboring countries. The drive from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe or Livingstone in Zambia takes about 1 hour, including border formalities. From Namibia’s Caprivi Strip, the transfer takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Longer drives from Maun take around 8 to 9 hours.
