Escarpment Luxury Camp gives you a feel of modern luxury with adventure in the breathtaking wilderness of the Serengeti. The lodge uses locally sourced and sustainable materials that minimize its environmental footprint. They have systems in place so as to recycle and conserve water for operational needs. By employing the local communities and engaging in cultural exchange programs the lodge supports community engagement.
The lodge uses locally supported produce and crafts. Its menu is an infusion of international cuisine and traditional Tanzanian flavors. The lodge offers bush dining experiences, sundowners, an infinity pool and a wellness center.
ACCESS & LOCATION of Escarpment Luxury Camp
The camp is accessible by air with its nearest airstrip being the Seronera Airstrip, located approximately 50 kilometers from the lodge, an hours drive away. There are several daily flights available from major areas such as Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Dar es Salaam. Flights from Arusha take about 45 to 60 minutes. While those from Kilimanjaro International Airport take approximately 1.5 hours and from Dar es Salaam around 2 hours.
Through road the lodge is about 335 kilometers from Arusha which will take you about 6 to 7 hours. The drive takes you through amazing views and landscapes which includes the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. While a road transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport takes you roughly 8 to 9 hours.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT Escarpment Luxury Camp
The camp has unique tents that have a solid canvas wall structure with stack away glass sliding doors and windows that provide you with the look of a canvas tent and the safety of a lodge.
The vip tents come with king-size beds, an outdoor furnished balcony, luxury en-suite with a bathtub, an outdoor fireplace, outdoor hot tub and shower and a private deck that overlooks the savannah.

Game Drives
Enjoy professionally guided game drives in the Serengeti. Morning and evening drives are offered giving you to observe the animals during their most active times and seeing the sun set over the Serengeti plains. You could also get to see the seasonal Great Migration. For birdwatchers the Serengeti has over 500 bird species and the lodge offers guided birdwatching excursions.

Seasonal Highlights
There are two seasons both the calving season and river crossings that take place in the Serengeti. The calving season happens between January to March where thousands of wildebeests calves are born in the southern Serengeti plains while the river crossings happen from July to September where millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara river into Maasai Mara in an event known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.
