ACCESS & LOCATION of Heritage Luxury Tented Camp

By Air
The easiest and most time-efficient way to access Heritage Luxury Tented Camp is by air. Guests can take scheduled flights from Arusha Airport or other regional airstrips to the closest seasonal airstrip based on the camp’s location. For the southern Serengeti during the calving season (December to March), flights land at Ndutu Airstrip, while for the northern Serengeti during the Great Migration crossings (June to October), flights arrive at Kogatende Airstrip. These flights typically take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the departure point. Upon landing, guests are met by the camp’s team for a short scenic drive to the camp.

By Road
For adventurous travelers, accessing the camp by road provides an immersive experience through Tanzania’s stunning landscapes. From Arusha, the drive to the southern Serengeti or Ndutu region takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. For the northern Serengeti location, the drive can take 8 to 10 hours, traversing diverse terrain and iconic landmarks like the Great Rift Valley escarpment. A 4×4 vehicle is essential for the journey, especially during the rainy season when road conditions can be challenging.
