By Road
Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp is accessible via a scenic drive from Arusha, approximately 320 kilometers away. The journey takes around 6 to 7 hours and passes through the breathtaking landscapes of northern Tanzania, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A 4×4 vehicle is essential for navigating the rugged terrain of the Serengeti, especially during the rainy season. For those already staying within the Serengeti or nearby reserves, the camp can be reached via shorter road transfers.
By Air
The fastest and most convenient way to access the camp is by taking a domestic flight from Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport to one of the nearby Serengeti airstrips, such as Seronera Airstrip or Kogatende Airstrip, depending on the camp’s seasonal location. The flight duration is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, followed by a 30 to 45 minute drive to the camp. Transfers from the airstrip to the camp are arranged by the camp, offering a seamless transition into your safari adventure.
