ACCESS & LOCATION of Namiri Plains Camp
Namiri Plains Camp is located in the eastern Serengeti region, in a private concession that offers exclusive access to an untouched corner of the Serengeti ecosystem. The camp is about a 45-minute flight from Seronera Airstrip or Kusini Airstrip in the Serengeti, both of which have regular scheduled flights from Arusha and Nairobi. Once guests arrive at the airstrip, they are transferred by vehicle to the camp, which takes about 30 minutes. The camp’s location offers easy access to the Serengeti National Park, especially during the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles pass through the region. Its secluded location, away from the major tourist crowds, makes it ideal for those looking for a more private and intimate safari experience.
