Since Nomad Serengeti Safari Camp is mobile, its location varies throughout the year based on the migration patterns:
- December to March – Southern Serengeti (Ndutu region) for the calving season, where thousands of wildebeest give birth.
- May to July – Western and central Serengeti as the herds move toward the Grumeti River, a prime spot for dramatic river crossings.
- July to November – Northern Serengeti, near the Mara River, where the most thrilling river crossings take place as the herds move between Tanzania and Kenya.
The camp can be accessed via several airstrips in the Serengeti, depending on its location. Flight durations from Arusha to the closest airstrips range between 1 to 1.5 hours, followed by a scenic drive to the camp.
