Antananarivo to Toamasina (Tamatave): Drive roughly 8hours east on RN2.
Toamasina to Port: Continue north to either Mahambo ( approximately. 3 hours) or Soanierana Ivongo (approx. 5-6 hours).
Ferry Crossing.
From Mahambo: Boats like El Condor are large and considered more comfortable, taking about 3.5 hours.
From Soanierana Ivongo: Smaller, more frequent ferries ( e.g., Gasikara Be or Melissa Express) take 1.5 to 3 hours.
Accessing by air is the moist efficient method, involving a domestic flight to Sainte-Marie followed by unique local transfer.
Flights Duration: The average non-stop flight time is 1 hour 5 minute’s.
The lodge is exceptionally close to the airport, located only about 0.75 miles (1.2km) away.
┬аZebu cart Transfer: Princess Bora is famous for its traditional zebu-drawn ox-cart transfer, which takes only a few minutes to reach the resort.
