ACCESS & LOCATION of Royal Zambezi Lodge
Royal Zambezi Lodge sits on a private stretch of riverbank just outside the Lower Zambezi National Park. By air, guests typically fly into Royal Airstrip, which is located about 5 minutes’ drive from the lodge. Flights from Lusaka take about 30 minutes, while flights from Livingstone or Mfuwe take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. By road, the journey from Lusaka takes roughly 6 to 7 hours, with part of the drive being on gravel roads that can be challenging during the rainy season. For most travelers, flying is the most convenient and time efficient way to access the lodge.
