Diana Muriuki is part of the Cheetah Safaris team working in IT and Digital Support, where she assists to manage and maintain the company’s website and digital platforms. Her role focuses on ensuring the smooth running of the company’s technology, supporting website content and updates, and helping the team with technological needs.
She has nearly two years of experience in the Tourism industry, and plays an important behind the scenes role in supporting the team’s digital presence. She enjoys continuously learning about wildlife and discovering fascinating facts about animals. Getting to explore the diversity of African destinations and what makes each country unique. Being part of the safari industry has allowed her to combine technology with a growing admiration for nature and travel.
Her favourite safari destination is Samburu National Reserve. She loves its slower pace and peaceful atmosphere, which allows visitors to truly take in the beauty of the landscape and the wildlife without feeling rushed. Among all the animals, giraffes are her favourite because of their elegance when they walk, unique patterns, and calm presence in the wild.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys staying active and exploring nature. She loves swimming, going for hikes, barbecuing and touring different counties across Kenya, always looking for new places to discover and experience.
