What John enjoys most about his work is creating meaningful experiences for travelers. Being part of helping someone discover something new and exciting is very rewarding for him. As a safari consultant, he ensures guests have smooth and memorable journeys by focusing on detailed planning, personalized itineraries, and proactive communication throughout the planning process.
His favourite safari destination is Samburu National Reserve, known for the famous Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk. One of his most memorable safari planning experiences was organizing a honeymoon safari for a couple visiting Kenya for the first time. They wanted a mix of adventure, luxury, and privacy, so he carefully designed an itinerary that included the Maasai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. To make the trip even more special, he arranged a private bush dinner, a sundowner experience, and a customized honeymoon welcome at each lodge.
John brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer focused service, and solid destination knowledge to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places, visiting nature spots, learning about different cultures and communities, and watching documentaries.
