About Entumoto Safari Camp
Entumoto Safari Camp is a private tented safari camp in Maasai Mara, elevated in the hills of the Rift Valley, commanding breathtaking views and sunsets over the Mara plains. The camp is located at Mara Siana Conservancy (a private conservancy) to give you a more intimate and exclusive safari experience as well as direct access to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
With no fences between the park and the conservancy, all the animals you get in the Mara have free reign to come in and out of the conservancy – which is especially exciting during the Great Migration.
Entumoto means meeting point in the local language Maa, which fits well as the camp is situated where the plains meet the hills and two valleys come together.
Entumoto Safari Camp offers a blend of luxury and eco-conscious accommodations, featuring walk-in tents in an intimate and natural setting. Being close to and connecting with nature is how a safari should be experienced, and Entumoto strives to provide that authentic experience.

ACCESS & LOCATION of Entumoto Safari Camp
Entumoto safari camp is nestled high up in the hills of the Megwarra escarpment, commanding breathtaking views and sunsets over Mara plains. The journey to the camp is about 240km from Nairobi, driving time takes about 5 hours and 40 minutes by air. The camp is in a private Entumoto Conservancy, which is part of the Siana Conservancy bordering the Maasai Mara reserve. It is between the park gates Oloolamuita and Sekenani.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT Entumoto Safari Camp
The tents at the Main Camp are more spacious and have the best views of the conservancy as they are situated on the hillside, whereas Toto Camp is located on a valley.
Main Camp has 3 double/twin tented rooms, each with a big veranda with a stunning view down the valley. There are also 4 family suites, each with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a separate sitting room and verandah that runs along the entire front of each suite.
Toto Camp also has similarly styled 3 double/twin tented rooms but only 3 family suites.
Private dining on your verandah can be arranged on request.

ACTIVITIES AT Entumoto Safari Camp
Game drives
We run game drives twice a day, around dawn and dusk when animals are more active. As we are in a private conservancy, we can drive off-road to get a closer look when we spot something in the bush. We are also able to drive after dark, which means better chances of spotting nocturnal animals.
Cultural and community visits
Most of our guides are from the local area and are more than happy to talk about their culture with guests. We can organize visits to local villages to extend that learning opportunity.
Hot-air balloon rides
As dawn breaks, glide over the Masai Mara National Reserve in a hot-air balloon and watch the landscape change color beneath you. Hot-air balloon excursions are not to be missed, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion. Balloon flights are at an additional cost and are subject to weather conditions.
Night drives
A night safari gives travelers the chance to see nocturnal animals in action. Our vehicles are equipped with special spotlights so you can have the thrill of watching predators such as lions, leopards, and caracals as they stalk their prey.
