Kilima Valley Tented Camp is located in the central Serengeti, near the boundary with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, approximately 320 kilometers from Arusha. The journey by road takes 6 to 7 hours, passing through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. Visitors will travel via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or the Naabi Hill Gate, where they can enjoy stunning views of the Serengeti plains along the way. A 4×4 vehicle is essential for navigating the park’s rugged terrain, especially during the rainy season.
By Air
For a quicker and more convenient journey, guests can take a domestic flight from Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport or Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam to the Seronera Airstrip, located about 45 minutes by road from the camp. The flight takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
