ACCESS & LOCATION of Mara Leisure Camp
Mara Leisure Camp is strategically located in the northern corridor of the Maasai Mara, near the Talek Gate, making it an excellent base for exploring the reserve.
By Air
The camp is accessible via daily scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Ol Kiombo Airstrip, which takes approximately 45 minutes.
From the airstrip, it’s a 30 to 45 minute drive to the camp.
By Road
The drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara takes approximately 5 to 6 hours via Narok.
A 4×4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season when roads can be challenging.

Game Drives in the Maasai Mara
Mara Leisure Camp offers morning, afternoon, and full-day game drives, led by expert guides. The Maasai Mara is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles.
Hot Air Balloon Safaris
Guests can take an unforgettable hot air balloon safari at sunrise, floating over the Mara plains and ending with a champagne breakfast in the bush.
