ACCESS & LOCATION of ol Donyo Lodge
Ol Donyo Lodge is located in the Chyulu Hills, an ancient volcanic mountain range that stretches between Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks. The area is home to diverse wildlife, including big tusker elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.
The drive from Nairobi to Ol Donyo Lodge takes approximately 4 to 5 hours by road, depending on weather and road conditions. The route follows the Mombasa Road (A109) before turning off towards the Chyulu Hills Conservancy, with the final stretch being on dirt roads leading to the lodge.
