Built on an elevated hill, the lodge provides a tranquil and immersive wildlife experience, with game-viewing opportunities right from the private verandas. Its close proximity to Ruaha National Park makes it an ideal base for exploring Tanzania’s largest national park, home to diverse wildlife, including large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and African wild dogs.

By Air
A 1.5 hour flight from Dar es Salaam to Msembe Airstrip, followed by a 40 minute drive to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.
By Road
A 10 to 12 hour drive from Dar es Salaam or 5 to 6 hours from Iringa, offering a scenic journey through Tanzania’s rural landscapes.

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge features comfortable stone and thatched-roof chalets, each spaciously designed with en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets, solar-powered electricity, and private balconies offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness.
The main lodge area has a restaurant and bar serving local and international cuisine, with an open terrace for alfresco dining while overlooking the bush.
Ruaha Hilltop Lodge also provides Wi-Fi in the common areas, though limited due to its remote location.
