About Sarara Camp
Sarara Camp is an exclusive luxury safari camp located in the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, at the base of the Matthews Mountain Range in northern Kenya. This community owned camp offers a remote and immersive safari experience, combining stunning landscapes, cultural interactions, and exceptional wildlife viewing. Known for its strong conservation efforts, Sarara is one of the few places where guests can witness the unique elephant rescue and rewilding process at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary.

By Air
The nearest airstrip is Sarara Airstrip, with scheduled and charter flights available from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
By Road
Sarara Camp is about 6 to 7 hours’ drive from Nairobi, offering scenic views of northern Kenya’s rugged terrain, Samburu villages, and wildlife.
