After morning breakfast, you will head out for a full day game drive with your parked lunch to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. This geological masterpiece was formed as a result of an extremely large volcanic explosion which caused the volcano to collapse on itself thus creating a crater. During the game drive, you will watch many resident animals including large prides of lions, packs of hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas among others and pink flamingoes at Lake Magadi found in the corner of the crater.
In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Have breakfast then depart early in the morning with your lunch heading off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You will spend two nights exploring the Serengeti plains.
Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000sq km with over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area has massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles and the rare oribi antelopes.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive for the first day and later head back to the camp for dinner and rest.
On this day, you’ll explore the various regions of the Serengeti—north, south, east, or west, based on the movement of wildlife. After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for a morning game drive. Following lunch, you’ll continue your game drive into the evening before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
On this day, you’ll explore the various regions Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. It has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeests and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. Serengeti is truly home to the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration. The park is rich in wildlife, endless plains, sunrises and sunsets that make the heart go wild. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site.
Later in the evening, return back to camp for dinner and overnight.
You will enjoy your leisure breakfast before checking out. Later start your drive back to Arusha for your flight back home.
