You’ll spend the day exploring the vast plains in search of wildlife, a haven for the big cats. The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most well-known parks in the world and is a highlight on this Kenya wildlife tour. Today’s sights include cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, and zebras, which dominate the scene, while antelopes, warthogs, and wildebeests form formidable numbers. The Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer of any other park in the region. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River, which has crocodiles and hippos; this is the wildebeest crossing point from the neighboring Serengeti. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, a short game drive in the park, and a relaxing evening at the lodge.

This day will start with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This alkaline lake is home to millions of pink flamingos that cover the lake’s shorelines. The lake ecosystem is also a habitat for over 400 species of birds. The park has cliff tops that serve as viewpoints for seeing lions, white and black rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, and buffaloes.

Later, we will exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus, almost 13 kilometers across. The lake draws a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps, and colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake’s large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows.

You will have an afternoon boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you can view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater Rift Valley lake. Later, proceed for a guided walking safari at Crescent Island.

After an early breakfast, we will depart towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things, majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can get a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, we head to the park for our full-day game viewing.
