Dinner and overnight at the camp.
This reserve, though unpopular, offers some of the greatest safari experience off-beaten path. On this day, we will start our day up early for our early morning game drive.
The only permanent source of water in the reserve is The Ewaso Nyiro River which provides excellent game viewing opportunities including elephants, buffalos, lions and leopards and of course the plains’ game.
Samburu National Reserve is home to the rare northern ‘special five’ which are; the grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, generuk and the beisa oryx.
