The nearest airstrip is the Seronera airstrip that is 20 kilometers to the camp. A flight from Arusha would approximately take about an hour to an hour 15 minutes depending on weather conditions and the airline yo choose. After you land a 45 minute drive is taken to the camp.
From Arusha to the Baobab Central Serengeti is roughly 325 to 350 km making it an 8 to 10 hour drive depending on road and weather conditions. You’d pass through Makuyuni town, Mto wa Mbu near the Lake Manyara and Karatu town town before making your way to the Serengeti National Park through the Naabi Hill Gate. This is a rather scenic drive as you see views of the great rift valley, lake manyara and the ngorongoro conservation area. A 4×4 is recommended.
The camp compromises of 9 double/triple or single tents and 3 family interconnecting tents for groups or families. The main tent has a restaurant and bar. there is free parking at the front of the camp, free wifi, a fireplace also at the front of the camp, guide tents and the camp is solar powered. Each tent has a private bathroom, flushing toilets, a shower with both cold and hot water and a private terrace with chairs.
