About Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp
Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp is perched on the edge of an escarpment and is designed to capitalize on unobstructed views across the Laikipia landscape all the way to Mt Kenya. The camp is rooted on African themed style and sophistication. Its tents are spacious and airy with custom built large floor to ceiling doors and windows, high ceilings and polished wood floors.
There is a large open dining area, a separate open lounge and bar, wooden decking area suitable for outside dining, relaxing and for enjoying the views as well as one of Africa’s most picturesque infinity pools.

Elewana Loisaba Tented camp is accessible via daily flights from Nairobi Wilson airport to Loisaba airstrip which is just 15 minutes away. Flights take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from Nairobi. There are also flights available from other airstrips in Kenya like Nanyuki, Samburu and Maasai Mara. Private charter flights can also land directly at Loisaba airstrip.
The camp is 380 kms from Nairobi and takes about 6 to 8 hours by car. It’s 80 kms from Nanyuki making it a 2 to 2.5 hour drive.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp
The camp has 12 incredibly spacious ensuite tents that offer breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from the tents verandah. Their bathroom has a double basin vanity, large shower and an enclosed flush toilet.
The tents are custom designed with large floor to ceiling windows and doors, stylish modern furnitures, wide verandahs and polished wooden floors. Each tent offers an expansive view over the Laikipia plains.
There are three family combinations each with a double tent and a convertible twin/double tent that are adjoined by a walkway. Each has a lounge area inside, a verandah, a bathroom with a double basin vanity, enclosed flush toilet and large shower.
