Walking Safaris
For a more intimate and educational safari experience, guests can embark on guided walking safaris led by Maasai warriors and experienced rangers. Unlike game drives, walking safaris allow visitors to observe the smaller details of the ecosystem—animal tracks, insects, birdlife, and medicinal plants used by the Maasai people. This immersive experience also increases the chances of encountering wildlife at a closer but safe distance, such as giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
Hot Air Balloon Safari
Before sunrise, you are driven to the launch site, where they board a massive balloon that lifts them gently over the vast Mara plains. As the sun rises, the golden light illuminates the landscape, offering a surreal aerial view of the wilderness below. From herds of elephants moving gracefully across the grasslands to the occasional sighting of a predator on the hunt, the experience is unmatched. The flight ends with a champagne breakfast in the bush, making it one of the most luxurious and unforgettable safari experiences.
Game Drives
You can choose between early morning and late afternoon drives, where they have the highest chances of witnessing big cats hunting, herds of elephants, and other fascinating wildlife interactions. The camp’s expert guides provide in-depth knowledge of the animals’ behaviors, ensuring an informative and engaging safari. During the Great Migration season, guests are taken to the Mara River to witness one of the most thrilling spectacles in nature where thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the crocodile-infested waters in search of greener pastures. Full-day game drives are also available, allowing guests to explore the far-reaching corners of the reserve, complete with a packed picnic lunch in the wild.
