Treetops Lodge is a historic safari lodge located in Aberdare National Park, Kenya. Famous for being the place where Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne in 1952, the lodge offers a unique treehouse-style accommodation overlooking a waterhole and salt lick, attracting a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, and leopards. Treetops provides an immersive and intimate safari experience, perfect for nature lovers and history enthusiasts.

ACCESS & LOCATION of Treetops Lodge

By Road

Treetops Lodge is located about 180 km which takes 4 hours from Nairobi, accessible via Nyeri and Mweiga Gate of Aberdare National Park. A 4×4 vehicle is recommended for the final stretch.

By Air

Flights from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to Nanyuki Airstrip take 40 minutes, followed by a 1.5 hour drive to Treetops Lodge.
