As the second-largest conservancy in the region, it boasts a high density of spectacular wildlife. The Naboisho conservancy was established not only to protect the environment and wildlife but also to empower the local Maasai community. The area is made up of land contributions from 500
Maasai landowners, who exhibit the cultural heritage of the local Maasai. Landowners are provided with good grazing throughout the year, as the conservancy management moves them from one area to another during different seasons.
The conservancy strictly monitors the number of tourists and vehicles who enter the area to reduce the human impact on the environment and wildlife.
