This is the busiest time, as the dry weather coincides with holidays. Wildlife is easier to spot, and the scenery is stunning with clear skies. Accommodations tend to fill up quickly, so advance bookings are recommended.

How do you Get to Meru National Park?

Best way to go to Meru National Park

By Road: Meru National Park is about 350 kilometers from Nairobi, making the journey approximately 6 to 7 hours by road. The roads are generally in good condition, though a 4WD vehicle is recommended, especially during the wet season.

By Air: There are scheduled and charter flights to Kinna Airstrip near the park, with a flight time of about an hour from Nairobi.
