Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our meet-and-greet representative, who will assist you with immigration formalities.

Afterwards, you’ll be introduced to your driver-guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

After an early breakfast, depart Entebbe and drive towards Jinja, traveling via Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital.

Enjoy a brief city orientation tour, offering a glimpse into daily life, historic landmarks, and the bustling atmosphere that defines the city.

Continue eastwards to Jinja with a stop at Ewaffe Cultural Village, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the local community.

Here, you’ll gain insight into the rich cultural heritage of the Buganda Kingdom through traditional storytelling, music, dance, and demonstrations of local crafts and customs.

Enjoy a traditional meal thereafter proceed to Jinja, famously known as the source of the River Nile.

Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch.

The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to relax and take in the tranquil riverside surroundings.

Today is dedicated to exploring Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and the source of the world’s longest river.

Begin with a visit to the Source of the River Nile, where you will take a scenic boat ride to the exact point where the Nile begins its remarkable journey.

Standing at this iconic spot, learn about the river’s historical significance and witness where the Nile starts its approximately 6,650-kilometre journey northwards, flowing through several countries before emptying into the Mediterranean Sea.

There are several optional activities you may choose from to further enhance your Jinja experience, including:

• White-water rafting on the Nile, one of the world’s most thrilling rafting experiences
• A visit to Itanda Falls, a culturally significant and scenic set of rapids along the Nile
• Quad biking, exploring rural trails and villages around Jinja
• Horse riding, offering a relaxed way to enjoy the countryside and riverside landscapes
• Bungee jumping, an adrenaline-filled leap over the Nile River

These activities are optional and can be arranged based on interest and time available.

Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

After breakfast at your hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up for the transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

The journey takes you through the historic Luweero Triangle, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — established to reintroduce rhinos to Uganda.

Enjoy a 1–2 hour guided walk as you track the rhinos, the only place in the country where you can see these magnificent creatures in the wild.

Have lunch, then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi Town. 

En route, make a stop at the Top of the Falls for breath-taking views of the Nile as it forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges over 43 meters below with a thunderous roar, creating a spectacular rainbow.

Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay on Full Board. 

Rise very early in the morning and set out for the game drive before sunrise.

Murchison falls being Uganda’s largest park, you will enjoy a variety of wildlife it has to offer including Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, large numbers of Giraffes, Warthogs, Antelopes, Waterbucks and Bushbucks as well as the so many different bird species.

After like 3-4hrs of the game drive, return to the Lodge for a late breakfast and relaxation. 

After Lunch, set out for the afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls along the Victoria Nile.

This 3hrs boat cruise will enable you to have a glance at a number of waters loving animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalos and so many bird species like the kingfishers, Cormorants, Hornbills, Goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelicans and bee-eaters.

After the cruise, return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Full Board

Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, followed by a short game drive before departing for Kibale Forest National Park — famously known as the Primate Capital of the World.

This lush tropical rainforest is home to 13 primate species, including man’s closest cousins, the chimpanzees, as well as over 325 bird species, among them the rare Green-breasted Pitta.

The journey takes you through the scenic Western Rift Valley’s Albertine Escarpment, passing through the verdant countryside and traditional homesteads of the Bunyoro and Tooro Kingdoms, offering a glimpse into rural Ugandan life. 

Overnight at your Lodge on full Board.

Chimp tracking in Kibale Forest National Park is an exciting and memorable adventure.

You start early in the morning with a knowledgeable guide and walk into the thick rainforest, looking for signs of chimpanzees.

The trek can be tough as you go through dense plants and rough ground.

The guide will help you find the chimps, who are lively and fun to watch.

When you spot them, you can see how they eat, play, and interact up close.

It’s a special chance to learn about their lives and behavior, making the experience unforgettable for anyone who loves nature and wildlife. 

Afternoon you have another opportunity to enjoy the wildlife through a 4.5Km nature walk at Bigodi wetland run by KAFRED a community-based organization, several bird species over 200 have been identified on this trail including Turacos, Kingfishers among other birds.

Over 8 primates have been identified including the L’hoest Monkey, red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, Velvet Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Olive Baboon, black & white colobus monkeys and the Grey Cheeked Mangabey.

You have an option to either enjoy the nature walk or go for a community walk around Bigodi.

Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

Today, set out on a scenic nature walk through the stunning Kasenda Crater Lakes region.

Begin at the picturesque Mahoma Falls and continue your exploration across the chain of crater lakes, including the iconic Lake Nyinambuga — beautifully depicted on the 20,000 Ugandan Shilling note.

The experience culminates at the “Top of the World” viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping vistas of the Rwenzori Mountains and the rolling landscapes that define this enchanting part of Uganda. 

You will continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations, renowned for its remarkable biodiversity.

The Park boasts over 600 bird species and a wide variety of mammals, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and many more.

En route, stop at the Equator in Kasese before continuing your journey to the park.

In the evening head out for an exciting game drive in search of wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks, and bushbucks.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay on a Full Board basis.

After early morning breakfast at your lodge – you will drive to Kasenyi plains for your game drive.

The plains are home to a wide variety of animals, including African elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, waterbucks, warthogs, and topi.

Predators such as lions and leopards are also commonly spotted, especially early in the morning or late in the evening.

The Plains are also rich in birdlife, with species such as eagles, vultures, storks, and various grassland species.

After the game drive you will return to your lodge for Lunch, after lunch embark on a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel for another opportunity to encounter wildlife.

The cruise typically last about 2 hours and depart from the main jetty near Mweya Safari Lodge.

During a boat cruise expect to see elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and other animals coming to the water’s edge to drink.

The slow-paced boat cruises allow ample time for photography.

You can capture close-up shots of hippos, crocodiles basking in the sun, and birds in flight.

Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, transfer to Ishasha sector of the park, enjoy a mid-morning game drive searching for the rare tree climbing lions among other wildlife in this area, afternoon relax at your lodge.

Evening enjoy another game drive with a sundowner, overnight at your lodge on full board.  

Breakfast at your Lodge, enjoy another game drive through Ishasha for another opportunity to see the tree climbing lions before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and for hosting more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.  

Check in at your Lodge for overnight on Full board.

Gorilla tracking offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience that commences early in the morning.

With your packed lunch depart your lodge and head to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing and gorilla family allocations.

Due to the physical demands of gorilla tracking, maintaining good health and fitness is strongly recommended.

Appropriate attire, including sturdy hiking boots, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts, is essential for protection against insects and dense vegetation encountered along the trek.

We also recommend hiring porters to assist you on the trek.

The journey into the forest typically traverses challenging terrain, ranging from dense undergrowth to steep slopes.

The duration of the trek varies considerably based on the location of the specific gorilla group, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

Upon locating the gorilla group, visitors are treated to an enchanting hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Experienced guides ensure a safe viewing distance while offering valuable insights into gorilla behavior and ongoing conservation efforts.

Following this extraordinary encounter, you will trek back to the starting point and head back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for the Gorilla Trek. 

Afternoon take a community walk around Buhoma Village, where you’ll experience the local way of life.

Visit traditional homesteads, interact with community members, and learn about their daily activities, crafts, and cultural traditions. Dinner and overnight.

After your morning early breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park which is Uganda’s smallest National Park.

The journey will take you through stunning sceneries and views of the Ankole Kingdom with animal farms and different crop plantations.

Arrive in time for Lunch at your Lodge in Lake Mburo.

In the afternoon, embark on a rewarding game drive in one of Uganda’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks.

Lake Mburo is renowned for its open savannah and acacia woodlands, offering excellent opportunities to spot zebras, impalas, elands, topis, buffaloes, and warthogs, along with a rich variety of birdlife. 

After breakfast at your lodge, check out and set out for a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park.

This is one of the few parks in Uganda where walking safaris are permitted, offering a unique opportunity to experience wildlife up close on foot while accompanied by an armed ranger.

As you explore the savannah and acacia woodlands, you may encounter animals such as zebras—for which the park is most famous—along with impalas, oribis, elands, buffaloes, and giraffes that were recently reintroduced from Murchison Falls National Park.

The Park is also a haven for birdlife, making the walk especially rewarding for bird enthusiasts.

After the nature walk, depart Lake Mburo and drive back to Entebbe.

En route, stop at the Equator for lunch, photo opportunities, and time to browse local craft shops.

Continue onward to Entebbe, arriving later in the afternoon or early evening, Farewell Dinner, drop off at the Airport.
