About Elewana Lewa Safari Camp
Elewana Lewa Safari Camp, is located in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Being in a private conservancy ensures exclusive game viewing experiences. Nearby attractions are Mount Kenya which is south of the conservancy, Ngare Ndare Forest which is to the south and just a short distance away and Samburu National Reserve which is approximately 3 to 4 hours away by road.

There are scheduled and chartered flights to the Lewa Downs airstrip which is just 20 minutes from the camp. There are daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson airport that take approximately 1 hour to the airstrip. Charter flights from other major locations in kenya such as Samburu, Maasai Mara and Nanyuki are available.
From nairobi to the camp is approximately 260 kms making it a 5 – 6 hour drive depending on road conditions. If you are coming from Nanyuki it’s just a 65 km drive that would take you 2 hours.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT Elewana Lewa Safari Camp
Elewana Lewa safari camp has 11 ensuite safari tents, they can all be laid out as doubles or twins. three of them can accommodate triples for children under 16 only. Under each thatch-covered tent is a main bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a spacious verandah.
There are only two family tent suites each consisting of two en-suite safari tents(one double, one twin) with a shared verandah. An extra bed for a third child under 16 years can be accommodated in one of the Family tents so as to accommodate a family of 5.
There is an outdoor swimming pool , 24 hour security and on bird watching opportunities.
