Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp is a traditional tented safari camp nestled along the banks of the Mara River within Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. It comprises of just five canvas tents, the camp offers an intimate and authentic bush experience. Its prime riverside location provides guests with direct views of hippos and crocodiles, and its proximity to a salt lick attracts black rhinos, lions, and leopards, making it ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp operates year-round and offers 24-hour electricity powered by a generator.

By Road
From Nairobi, the Maasai Mara is approximately 225 kilometers away. The journey by road can take between 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions. Upon entering the reserve, it’s about a 35 minute drive from the Musiara Gate to Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp.
By Air
There are several daily flights operate from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Maasai Mara, landing at airstrips such as Musiara Airstrip. The flight duration is approximately 45 minutes. From Musiara Airstrip, Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp is a 35 minute drive.

Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp has five spacious canvas tents each equipped with en suite bathrooms that have traditional safari bucket showers and flush toilets. They each have private verandas that overlook the Mara River.
There is a central mess tent that serves as a communal area for both dining and relaxation. There is a campfire area for evening gatherings. The camp’s design emphasizes a low-key and tranquil atmosphere, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the surrounding wilderness.
