Discover Chobe National Park
The Chobe National Park, located in northern Botswana, is one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. It is situated near the town of Kasane, bordering Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. It’s a gateway to Victoria Falls, about 80 km away. It covers approximately 11,700 square kilometers, making it the third-largest national park in Botswana. How to Get to Chobe National Park
By Air
The most convenient way to reach Chobe National Park is by flying into Kasane Airport, located just outside the park. There are regular flights from Maun, Gaborone, and Johannesburg (South Africa). Charter flights are also available from other safari destinations in Botswana or neighboring countries.
By Road
Chobe National Park is well-connected by road, but the conditions vary depending on your route and destination within the park. From Botswana, Maun is about 600km making it an 8 to 10 hours drive. Drive through Nata to Kasane, where the Chobe Riverfront area is easily accessible. From Gaborone the distance is 900km a 12 to 14 hour drive. Drive via Francistown and Nata to Kasane.
