Scattered with pretty green hills, Chyulu National Park is a mountain range located in South Eastern Kenya. Dominated by montane forest, Chyulu is home to a wonderful selection of games and is widely known for having one of the world’s longest lava tubes crisscrossing beneath the depths of the hills.
Signs of Chyulu’s volcanic origins remain amongst the park, with several hundred small cones and flows lying across the plains. When taking part in a hike up the famous hills, you will encounter breathtaking views of the African landscape below. If hiking isn’t your choice of adventure, the national park still boasts spectacular sights of Mount Kilimanjaro, as it recedes over the horizon.
The Chyulu Hills is a mountain range in Makueni County in southeastern Kenya. It forms a 100-kilometer-long volcanic field in an elongated northeast-southwest direction. Its highest peak is 2,188 meters high.
